Nyege Nyege festival happens every year in September at the source of the Nile in Jinja, Uganda. The festival has been marked as one of the World’s and Africa’s best musical celebration. Founded in 2015, it has got a lot of international attention and it brings a fusion of African musical acts from all over the world.
Nyege Nyege meaning peace, joy & respect is now a common word in Uganda. This year’s 4 days festival will take place on the 5th to 8th September 2019 at the Nile discovery beach in Jinja.
