Big Game Safaris

The best Game safaris in East Africa

Experience the best of East Africa with game safaris to different national parks & wildlife reserves. The northern & dry part of Uganda has a lot of undiscovered lands and this is where you will find some of Africa’s best game parks, Kidepo Valley.

Uganda’s oldest national park, Murchison offers fantastic opportunities to see a wide range of animals, birds and reptiles. The most common ones seen include Lions, Hyenas, Buffalos, Giraffes, Elephants, Uganda Kobs, Patas monkey, baboons and many more. With an experienced ranger guide from UWA, the Buligi Game track on the northern bank will give anyone a chance to capture good moments. A Luxury traveler would opt for a Hot-air balloon safari which can as well be arranged by the Tour Operator, to have a better view over the park.

The western part of Uganda has quite a number of game parks including Kibale, Rwenzori, Queen Elizabeth, Semuliki and Lake Mburo. The most popular one is Queen Elizabeth national park and probably the second largest in Uganda. You will be guaranteed with Buffalo, Antelope and elephant sightings in the north Kazinga plains and in Ishasha you will be come across the Legendary Ishasha Tree Climbing Lions. An early morning game drive in time to see the sunrise, is the best chance to see other animals in this game park. Bush breakfast is offered by some of the Lodges in Queen Elizabeth and you can include the details while making a booking.

The Other Park Lake Mburo is conveniently close to the highway road, and can easily be accessed when coming from Kampala- the capital city of Uganda. A Game safari here is worth it since it will reward you with Uganda’s medley of wonders including Zebras, Hippos and Birds etc.

In Rwanda, the beautiful Akagera national park offers the best game safaris. Located close to Kigali and Lake Ihema in the background giving it cooler temperatures. Recently (Early 2017) it attained the Big-five status and all the big five wild animals can be found here.
