Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Your guide will pick you up for a journey northwards. The first highlight is Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will trek with white rhinos on foot, a vital conservation success story.
Travel Note: The total journey to Murchison Falls takes 7–9 hours. To ensure comfort, we break the drive with the 1.5-hour Rhino trek and a leisurely lunch in Masindi Town, arriving at the park in the evening.

Day 3: The Top of the Falls & Transfer to Kibale Forest
After visiting the Top of the Falls to feel the earth shake beneath the Nile, you begin the journey to Kibale.
Travel Note: This is a 9-hour scenic drive. We break the journey with a stopover in Fort Portal town at the foothills of the Mountains of the Moon (Rwenzori). You’ll pass verdant tea plantations and traditional homesteads, making the long transit a visual delight.

Day 5: Ishasha Tree-Climbing Lions & Transfer to Bwindi
Early morning, we explore the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is one of the few places in Africa where lions habitually climb fig trees to rest.
Travel Note: Following the game drive, we transfer to Bwindi. This 5-hour journey takes you from the savannah plains into the steeply terraced Kigezi highlands, often called the Switzerland of Africa.

Day 7: Return to Kampala/Entebbe via the Equator
After breakfast, begin the final leg of your journey.
Travel Note: This 8–9 hour journey is made comfortable with a major stop at the Uganda Equator. Here, you can stand in both hemispheres, enjoy lunch, and witness the Coriolis effect water experiment before arriving in the city for your departure.
