Detailed Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Scenic Drive to Kibale Forest National Park

Your guide will pick you up from Kampala for a westward journey through the lush tea plantations of Fort Portal, nestled in the shadow of the Mountains of the Moon (Rwenzori).

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Community Walk

Enter the Kibale rainforest for a guided trek to find chimpanzees and 12 other primate species. In the afternoon, enjoy a nature walk in the Bigodi Swamp, a community-run sanctuary famous for the Great Blue Turaco and rare forest papyrus birds.

Day 3: The Savannahs of Ishasha

Head south to the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Travel Note: This drive takes approximately 2–3 hours. Upon arrival, we embark on a game drive in search of the tree-climbing lions and the elusive Giant Forest Hog. Seeing these lions perched high in ancient fig trees is a true Ugandan safari highlight.
